Who are Presbyters?

As memtioned on the Renfrew Presbytery Home page, Presbytery is one of the four courts of the United Church of Canada. Its members are the clergy of each of the Pastoral Changes, retired clergy within the Presbytery, lay representatives of each of the Pastoral Charges (and elected by the members of that Pastoral Charge) and a few persons who are appointed by Presbytery as Members at Large.

How is Presbytery Organized?

Each Presbytery elects a Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and a number Committee Chairs. The Committees of Renfrew Presbytery are as follows:
