Boyd’s – Franktown Pastoral Charge
United Church Women (UCW)
Summary of Responsibilities

The following information is taken from the Guide for Board and Committee Members of Congregations in the United Church of Canada

The women of a congregation who are in sympathy with the purpose and functions of the United Church Women of The United Church of Canada may be organized in any congregation or Pastoral Charge. Increasingly, a plan of organization for the UCW must be flexible with a creative approach to the needs and responsibilities of adults.

The purpose is to unite the women of the congregation for the total mission of the Church and to provide a medium through which they may express their loyalty and devotion to Jesus Christ in Christian witness, study, fellowship and service.

Summary of Duties of the UCW
