Goals of the Renfrew Presbytery
The members of Renfrew Presbytery will strive
to enact its Mission Statement by:
- Encouraging collaboration among congregations and other ministries through fellowship, witness and communication;
- Cultivating communication links between the Presbytery ministries and the other courts of The United Church;
- Promoting programmes considered by The United Church to be beneficial to the spiritual well being of its membership;
- Strengthening our understanding of Christian faith and call to social justice;
- Providing support for constructive and healing methods of problem solving; and
- Carrying out the duties charged to it under the appropriate sections of The United Church Manual.
